Azarshahr is the origin for red travertine, yellow travertine, and walnut travertine. These stones are unique materials from Azarshahr located in East Azerbaijan province. AKAMstone is offering two different red travertines. Both in blocks and slabs and both red travertine quarries are located in Azarshahr area in Iran. The first red travertine quarry provides dark red travertine blocks, which are perfect for producing vein, cut dark red travertine slabs. This is while the red travertine blocks, extracted from the second red travertine quarry doesn’t have meaningful veins and are used for producing cross cut red travertine slabs. MGT stone has both types in its stone warehouse because although most countries love vein cut travertines as it looks natural and presents the beauty of nature, Many countries like Iran and Japan mostly order red travertine in crosscut.
